Open-source plan

Free for open-source projects that tell their community what runs their pipelines.

What your project gets

Everything below is free for your project, as long as it holds the open-source plan.

  • Unlimited members, unlimited concurrent jobs and 120 days of run history, at no cost.
  • No minutes cap, no concurrency limit blocking your team, no runners sitting idle.
  • Each step on a machine started in your own cloud account, sized to what it declares and stopped when it ends, or in containers on your GitHub and GitLab runners.
  • Pipelines checked before they run: a broken pipeline fails in about a second, before any machine starts.
  • Live logs, debug events replayed on the pipeline graph, and the exact program and parameters of every run.
  • Public run pages to link from merge requests, issues and your README, with values typed Secret kept out of them.
  • Admin & Member roles to manage who does what in your organization.

In return

  1. A Cadence.CI badge or link in your README, kept while the plan is active.
  2. Once, a public word about it: a blog post, a release note, a post on your project's social accounts, or a short testimonial we can publish.
  3. Your agreement that we name your project, with its logo, on the Cadence.CI website and in our posts.

Badge for your README: it links to your organization's public runs.

How it works
  • Every run the organization starts while it holds the plan is public. Anyone can read it, with its logs and program, without an account, so you can link runs from merge requests and READMEs. Debug data stays visible to members only.
  • Public runs need Mélodium 0.11 or later, which keeps values typed Secret out of logs and reports. Type every credential as a Secret: plain string parameters are published.
  • The Cadence.CI team reviews each application by hand and answers by email.
